Chicken Bharta

INGREDIENTS

  • 500gms boneless chicken

  • 3 onions chopped

  • 1/2 ginger chopped

  • 10-12 garlic cloves crushed

  • 2-3 tomatoes chopped

  • 1/2tbsp haldi powder

  • 1tbsp sabut dhaniya crushed

  • 1tbsp dry mango powder(amchor)

  • 2 green chillies chopped

  • Vegetable/Olive oil

  • Salt to taste

METHOD

  • Cut Chicken into very small pieces

  • Put 3-4tbsp oil in a pan, add red chillies, onion, ginger and garlic. Saute it till Onions change color.

  • Add tomatoes and crushed dhaniya, and again fry till tomatoes turn saucy.

  • Add chicken and green chillies and mix them well.

  • Add salt and amchor powder and mix them well.

  • Cover with a lid and simmer the gas. Leave it till chicken is cooked.

  • Serve with freshly chopped corriander on the top.
